Project Announcement and More

We would like to announce the project we've been working on for the last month. The game itself has entered final testing phase and will be released to the public in Q1 2009. Our next project is also in initial development phase. More information about it will be released later.

Website Update

We've made some maintenance for our website. For example lots of new pictures from our ongoing projects has been added and some old information removed. Also remember to check out our monthly community news, which is published in our forums every month revealing cool new information from future games of Iceflake Studios.

Iceflake Studios Launch

Snowflake Studios transformed to a company. During the foundation process the name needed to be changed, and a new name for Snowflake is "Iceflake Studios". Newly founded company is previously known from a modification called FinnWars for Battlefield series.

At the moment Iceflake is working with its first project, which will be a commercial version of FinnWars. The new game project goes with a working title "FinnWars 2". At the moment it is developed for PC platform. More information will be released in the future.

Forum host changed

Our forum software was moved from previous host to the same server as this page is hosted at. The forum software was also updated to phpBB3 and some user accounts may have been conflicted with this update, meaning they had data that was incompatible with the new version of phpBB. There might still be some issues left with the forum, please post information about these on the forum.

Along with the new website we will publish new information about the Wild West multiplayer action game Battlegrouds of the West and Mammoth game engine.
